Today for the Chinese is a very auspicious dates 080808, very few other dates can beat August 8, 2008 - this is the date picked to have opening ceremony Olympic games in Beijing.
"The number eight sounds like the Chinese word for wealth and prosperity." "SO 3 x 8' today symbolise a triple portion and to be sure, Beijing will kick off the opening of the Olympic Games tonight, 08.08.08, at 8.08pm.
In the western we have numerology which also attributes number 8 to success and wealth, when rotated by 90 degrees the numeral becomes the symbol for infinity.
To get in on the act I'm buying a Lotto ticket and starting my holiday today......

I purchased a number of new shirts from the shirt maker in London called T.M.Lewin they have been going in Jermyn St for 100 years.
As a promotion they where giving away catalogues from 1905 see below. I found on page 6 a very interesting support for the old British officer polo players. "The Stowaway Suspensory"
After you read the description look at the materials they where made from.
I think 829 a very interesting number most defiantly to be hiden in the back of the closet in barracks.
828 In all natural wool that was most defiantly for the tuff offers with a stiff upper lip. Now we know why they looked so mislabel in the pictures out side barracks.
